Tanna island is known for masticating their kava before
drinking it, as well as having some of the most potent
noble kava in the world. “Ahouia” means “yellow” in one
of the native Tannese languages, and it is so called
because it is rich in kavalactones, not chewed, the
chemotype (lactone profile) makes for a very fast-onset
with mild bodily effects and some of the strongest
mental effects of any kava we have experienced.
